Review: Maybelline babylips dr.rescue
Here comes the long awaited review on the new Maybelline Babylips Dr. Rescue. I got mine for more than a week now and have been using and testing it out everyday to see whether the different claims of the product stand. And here's my review.
This is how it looks when you will to purchase it
There are only 2 flavors available in Singapore currently which is: Fresh mint and Icy mint.
Green = Fresh mint
Blue = Icy mint
Please forgive the little chips as I have been using them a lot
This product have really big claims and as you can see it is on the packaging. 12 Hr anti-cracks and anti chaps.
First of all, I would like to say that this product is really moisturizing and it glides onto my lips really effortlessly. I also really like that it have a scent but it does not really have a taste which is really good for me. Now I do find that this is a little more moisturizing then the original baby lips which we are use to buying. Now, here's something, I do not have extremely dry and chap lips so this product actually do last and keep my lips moisturized for 12 hours from day to night under my lipsticks. However, if you have really dry and champ lips, I do not think that it would last for full 12 hours but maybe a good 8-10 hours.This product also have a SPF 30 which is higher than the regular SPF 20 in the regular baby lips. You are paying $6.90 instead of $5.90 for the product which I think is justifiable as this is really better than the regular baby lips. The only complain that I have is that I would really like it to come out with come fruity mint flavor instead of just 2 mint which are quite close in terms of flavor.
Hope that you peeps will find this review helpful and it will see you in my next post.
