Makeup favorites of 2012
I know that I have really disappeared for like the longest period of time, and in a blink of eye, we are in 2013. I know that I have never done any favorites of the month but here I will do favorites of the year as I think that there are really quite a lot of good products that I liked and have been loving throughout the year. And this will really let you guys and girls know what are the products that really stuck with me for the longest period of time.
First starting with foundation,
Bourjois Healthy mix serum foundation. This is like the most used daily foundation as it gives a nice natural radiance glow that is a little in between a dewy and settle finish. It comes with a pump which makes it really easy to get the product out and it is also really neat to use. Easily applied with anything. A sponge, beauty blender, brush or even your fingers. It smells really nice too and also it is said that this have skin care ingredients in it. The only downside of this foundation is that it do not have SPF, but it won't be a problem if you are like me, wear a sun screen under your foundation.
Another Bourjois product: Touche Healthy Mix Concealer. I love this concealer under my eye as it not only is able to cover up dark circles, but also able to highlight my under eye area.
This is like the best concealer of the year. It covers almost anything that is not too dark and hard to cover. Blending it with a beauty blender, it will look just like your skin is naturally flawless.
My Lelan Vitual compact blush quad as it is the most amazing daily use blush as I can use it for almost all different looks.
Red Earth Classic Line Kohl Eyeliner. It won't move the whole day if you just leave it there. It is water resistance, not totally waterproof and smudge proof. You can also smudge it with a makeup brush to create a smokey eye effect.
Lash Curler Mascara from Silky Girl. This is like the best mascara that I buy in year 2012. It just lengthened and also volumised my lashes in a natural and beautiful way. This is just amazing product with a very small price.
The eye shadows that really stand out for me this year is the Rimmel London smokey eye shadow quad in 002 smokey burn. It's kind of difficult for me to choose between this and my Urban Decay Naked as I love both. But this is that one that I go to everyday as it just very easy as I have 4 colors instead of 12 and it narrow down my choice and make my makeup a lot faster.
For lips product, it is really impossible for me to choose any single one. So here I am choosing a brand, Revlon. I really love their lip butters, their colorburst lip gloss and even their new balm stains which are my current favorites.
Last but not least, it is my bare minerals original mineral veil powder. This is just the perfect setting powder for a daily look. It just keeps my makeup there on my face for the whole day and also reduce the amount of oil on my face. The powder are really fine and also it is mineral makeup and thus it does not clog my pores.
