New Maybelline Products - Mascara
This post will be a review on the new products of Maybelline.
If you do go to any of the SASA, watson or any drugstores around you, you will be able to notice that there are some new products at the Maybelline counter. And I picked up 2 new products which are the new baby lips and the lashionista mascara. And if you are wonder why I did not picked up any of their single dual eye shadows is cause I do not really have the time to really take a close look and also to choose the colors or combination that I want. But I will go get them real soon and will review or do a tutorial by the end of this month or maybe next month.
I am going to start with the mascara which I still do not know how I really feel about it. Its like a love-hate feeling I think.
It has a hot pink packaging with I think that it makes it stands out so much within all my mascara and just tempting me to reach my hand out to it.
It is also a more cubical design rather than our normal round tubes.
I do think that the design and really nice and something special that is not really seen in the market for drugstores.
Some things that attract me to this mascara is some of the claims that Maybelline claimed for the mascara.
1.Endless Length: Contains new innovation 4mm fibers which is 2x longer than classic fibers!
2. Uplifted Lashes: With an ultra-light gravity-defying film, lashes stay up!
3. Flawless, no clumps: The Just Fit Brush is developed specially for Asian eyes. Zero clumos! Feels just like your own lashes.
4. 24h Smudge-proof: Resist tears & sebum. No flaking, no smudging. Removes with warm water!
Seems amazing? That is what really caught my eye and I just decided to buy on the spot without a tester to see as there is no tester there. And I really have to say that if there is a tester there then maybe I would not purchase this mascara in the first place.
The brush is in a curve that is just like our eyes and that it is smaller than the other mascaras that Maybelline have.
I do think that it does last a long time but I am not sure whether it really last 24 hours as I do not have makeup on my face for 24 hours. It does lengthen the lashes but 2x? erm, I don't really think that it is like really extending and lengthening as it says, but it does lengthen just that not that much as I expected. It isn't really 0 clumps, I would say that there are only like a few unnoticeable clumps that other would not see unless they stand really up front in front of you and really look and stare at your lashes. Whether it is smudge proof a not I would think yes. For me currently, I do not have any problem with it smudging after it dries. The only major down side for this mascara which really cause me to be not so clear on how I feel about this product is the formulation of this product is a little too wet. I personally do prefer dryer mascara as I always find them easier to apply. For this being a wet formulation, it makes it a bit more difficult and time consuming for it to dry. If you are someone when lashes that are not curled or you just did not properly curled your lashes, the product will just go to your under eye area which is really not nice. And because of this, I would not really like but yet not hate it. If you are someone that prefer or ok with wet formulation mascara, you can give this product a try, but if you are someone like me, I would say its your own preference on whether you want to give this product a try or not.
I do hope that this post is informative and will help you if you are deciding on whether to get this mascara or not. My next post which will either be tomorrow or Friday will be about the new baby lips. So stay tuned. Again do comment if you have any suggestions or any questions for me:) see ya.
