Review on LA color metallic eye shadow platelet:)
This blog post will be a review on the L.A color 5 color metallic shadow platelet.
L.A color is my recent buy like a couple of weeks back when I just have some time free before my tuition so I decided to go around and just do some window shopping at Clementi and I went in to a shop named ballerina where I discovered the platelets.
I own 2 of the LA color platelet.
I got them in 2 most neutral platelet, EP 45 Tea Time and EP 24 Unforgettable which are the most neutral platelet that I can find.
I think I will start with the bad points that I think the platelet can improve on. The shadow of the platelet tends to drop powder which is like a wastage of product. Another thing that I do not like is the applicator that come with it, the quality of the q-tip is really bad.
Next the good points.
The colors are really pretty and that I think that the quality of the colors are pretty good for the price.
The product is also very easy to work with as it is very easy to blend with both brush, applicators and even your fingers.
Here are the swatches.
For this platelet, the color is not as pigmented as I would expect but you can work with the color and stack the colors up. And I would think that this is the platelet that is very suitable for beginners who are starting to learn makeup and wants to start small with correctable mistakes as neutral is a color range that is closest to our skin tone and basically even when you make any mistakes, it would not be as obvious as others.
For this platelet, it is more pigmented then the tea time platelet and this is really something that I would use on a daily basis when I am pretty much in a rush and just wants something to brighten up my eyes with some colors. I would recommend this platelet to students or working adult whom do not have a lot of time to prepare yourself before heading out and wants a really speedy eye makeup.
That marks the end of this review. Comment if you have any question or comment if you want to request for tutorials on how to use this platelet in multiple ways.
