My first day of school make up tutorial!!
Wednesday, 15 August 2012 • 19:09 • 0 comments
Today, I decided that I will finally do a tutorial for what I wear for my first day of school.

I am gonna teach all of you who are reading this post how I transfer from,
as all of you can see, dull complexion and I look really restless with my eye bags.
to,
Disclaimer: I did not edit or photoshop any of the photos.
Okies, let's get started!

1. Apply sun block, UV protector or any thing with SPA of your choice.
I am using my Izumi UV protection with a SPF 30 pa+++
I pump one pump onto my hand, and this is the amount that I am going to use on my face.
Apply all over face by tapping.
Start to work the product in by tapping and slightly blending in to your face.
Tip: Always apply more to your nose bridge and cheek bones as those are areas where most people do get sun burnt most often.
2. I am going to use my perfect 123 foundation from Bourjois which I am not using it as a foundation.
Pumping 1/2 a pump onto my hand and I will be using it as a light concealer and highlighter.
Dotting it onto areas which I need coverage which are my under eye area and areas where I am discoloration and scarring.
Blend the foundation into the skin with your ring finger.
Why use ring finger? Our ring finger have the most gentle touch out of all our fingers and our face skin is really delicate so you would not want any power or harsh touch on your face.
3. Use a press power or any foundation power to set your make up.
Gently pad onto areas which you need extra coverage, need to set or you just want to make it look more matte.
This is how to base/ foundation of the make up look. It does brightens up my skin by a lot and reduce the color of the dark eyes circles.
4. Base of my eye shadow, I will be using my red earth whip shadow in 03 Bronze Glimmer, using my finger, I just apply it all over my lids.

5. Eye Shadow, for this look, I've selected one of my L.A Colors platelet
EP24 Unforgettable.
This platelet comes with a white highlight, a pink shadow with 3 brown shadow of different shades.
Use a normal eye shadow brush or the applicator that comes in the platelet,
Taking the lightest shade of brown of the platelet.
Apply the eye shadow on the 2/3 of your eyes, leaving the 1/3 of your eye empty.
Use a tissue to clear you brush before going on to the next step
6. Brightening of eyes.
Using the same brush, take the pink color in the platelet, tap off the excess.
Apply it to the first 1/3 of your lids and also the inner corner of your eyes. Also bring it down to the first 1/2 of the lower eye line.
7. Deepens your eyes.
Take a fluffy eye shadow brush.
Take the second darkest shade of brown from the platelet, and tap off the excess.
Starting with the last 1/4 or 1/5 of your lids, slowly blend the color in,
Also work the color up you crest, that will help you to deepens your double eye lid and also deepens your eyes.
8. Eyebrow.
Use an angled-eye shadow brush
Use the darkest shade of brown in the platelet, and once again, tap off the excess.
Fill in the empty spaces of your brows. If needed, do use a brow brush to further shape your brows.

The last few steps will be eyeliner, mascara, blush and lip. Line your upper eye line with either a brown or black eyeliner. After that brush a coat of mascara to both your upper and lower lashes. Blush you cheeks with a blusher of you liking and then complete your look with a tinted lip balm and there you are ready for your first day of school.
