Choosing the right makeup product for the right look..

Today's post is about another discussion on something that my friend asked me.
She asked me how did I choose the products for my different make up look, so here I am deciding to bring all of you the thinking process that I am going through in my mind when I am picking my products.

The chain will start with where will I be wearing this makeup to. For me, there is always a kind of makeup for a place and your makeup look should always rely on your overall look and also the place that you are going. I believe that there will be no one that wants to wear like bright or super dark and heavy makeup to school or even to like your neighborhood shopping malls.

After knowing what kind of look that I want, I will start taking out products. Whether do I need a lot of sun protection, and whether do I need to look absolutely flawless or is it okay for some flaws to show through but then my skin just look healthy and with radiance that it needs. And from there I would decide whether what kind of foundation, BB cream, tinted moisturizer or would I want just concealer on places where I need coverage and the rest is my naked skin.

Aftermath, I will start to think what I want to do to my eyes. What platelet do I want to use, what color, with eyeliner and what kind of mascara I would want to use. The color of your eyes is quite important as it will either make or break your makeup look. If you are going out to shop or hanging out with friends and you want something that pop, go with the color of your overall look, but if you are going to school or you just want a nice eye makeup, I would always suggest a natural eye makeup. Eyeliner is optional depending on your look. For me, eyeliner is something that helps my eyes to really become the attention point but I do not really wear eyeliner to school. It is really optional for depending on whether you like it or not. But if you have seriously uneven eyes, I would suggest using eyeliners on a daily basis to even and balance out your eyes. A mascara is a must, it just give your lashes a little more definition and it really just make your eyes look like they have more soul, they are more awake and brightens up your whole look.

After eyes, I always go for a blush. Whether I want a pop out look or just natural radiance. I do not take into consideration of a bronzer as I think that I am a little too fair for them. Do make sure that your blusher is balanced and that the color do not look weird on you with your makeup.

The last but no least is lips. Go with a nice lip color that you like and goes with your skin tone. Do not try using any too poppy colors for this as it will make you look like you are going for a party or a cosplay and stuffs like this. Also do consider the shape and look of your lips. If you are someone with thinner lips like me, always go with lighter colors as darker colors will make your lips look even thinner. Consider too whether you want shine on or no shine.

After you are done with your makeup, always do a last check and then make sure that everything is how you want it and you are ready to go.

Hope that this will be helpful for you people and that this is just what I do on a daily basis before I put on my makeup. If you have anything different in the steps do comment and share it with me, I would be interested to know how different are the steps. If you have any questions, you can either email me or comment on the post.
